How I Work
My Beliefs, Values, and Philosophies:
I work within an overarching philosophy of life and health.
- Everyone is their own person and has their own life path.
I cannot tell you what is “right” for you. Everyone has the answers to their problems within themselves. Sometimes you may just need a little nudge or a guiding hand to get to the root of it.
Each individual is responsible for their own life and what happens in their life.
If you don’t like the way something is going in your life, only you can change it.
Everyone needs Reiki.
If you receive it consistently and pro-actively, your body can do what it is made to do, heal itself (without chemicals) and work more efficiently!
Here is what you can expect from a session with me:
- Before You Arrive for Your Session
I prepare for you (with the guidance of the Universe)…stones/crystals and essential oils (for aromatherapy) are chosen specifically for you. I clear and cleanse the room, then meditate with your items.
When You Arrive
We chat for a few moments. I will answer any questions you may have about your session.
Your Session
You lay on my table fully clothed, face up. First, I will connect with your energy and place your stones/crystals where directed. Then, I begin doing hand positions or a “laying of hands” (beginning at the top of the head) directly on your body or just above (whatever you are comfortable with). I continue the hand positions down the front side of you. When I get to your feet, you will receive reflexology (unless you prefer not to). At this point, you will turn over and I will do the hand positions/laying of hands down your backside. I finish the session by aligning your chakras.
After Your Session
We will chat for a few more moments. I will tell you about the stones/crystals that were chosen for you and again answer any questions you may have.
My services are unique because:
- I’m a Reiki Master-Teacher
There are many people in Portland that do Reiki, including many massage therapists. Most of these people are not Reiki Masters. I have the highest training possible within the Usui System.
My Lineage
There is a lineage within the Usui System. I am 7th down on the lineage.
I have a Master’s in Counseling.
When or if things come up for people while they are with me, they can be comforted knowing they can talk to me and collect their thoughts before leaving if they so choose.
